This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
this unit was a put everything together. It went over how to design curriculum and then what to look for when designing it. I feel the main reason for this unit is to give us an idea of how to structure classes and then having us use what we learned in the previous units put it all together and create a lesson plan that involves all the ideas like structure (Engage, Study, Active, Study, etc). This unit will take some more going over to make sure that I understand completely how to create lesson plans. I feel that this is just one way to create lesson plans and not the only way. I have created lesson plans in the past and they are structured slightly different than this. This might be due to teaching different material and a using a different structure. I use a pidea method, which is mostly lecture and then open discussion.
