In this unit, different forms of future tenses are discussed. We are most familiar with the future simple tense, which is formed with \"will\" or \"shall\" and a verb in its base form. The future perfect tense is formed with \"will have\" and a verb in its past participle form. The future continuous tense uses \"will be\" plus a verb in its present participle form. The future perfect continuous tense is formed with \"will have been\" plus a verb in its present participle form. There are also other verb forms that may be used to talk about the future. \"Be going to\" may be used with a verb to talk about intentions, predictions with present evidence, and plans. The simple present tense may be used to talk about future schedules, while the present continuous tense is used to talk about future plans without a definite schedule.
