This unit examined modal auxiliary verbs and passive voice in detail, it also provided a brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. In fact, this course presented Basic rules and Teaching ideas of modal auxiliary verbs. these 'modals' are: can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. Concerning passive voice, it was based on the form, the usage, typical student errors and teaching ideas. After these, we saw categories of clauses and some examples of relative clauses. to close this unit, we studied the three basic types of phrasal verbs, which are: intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. At this level, it is true that I have not cover the whole grammatical system, but I have the basic grammar knowledge to teach English language.
