I have learned from this first lesson what are the different qualities to make a good teacher. Qualities such as patience, kindness, knowledge of the subject or love for teaching are needed. However, it is not all as the teacher also have to interact with the learners and transmit knowledge as much as passion for the language. It is also very important to adapt lessons to both age groups and levels. For example young learners, 7 and below have a short attention span and like to play games or adults have maybe more life experience but they are also more set on specific methods. Concerning levels both making lessons too easy, hard or boring will most probably discourage students. To summarize, a good teacher needs to be able to take into account these factors in order to give adapted lessons to each students/ group of students.
