This unit focuses on Conditional sentences and direct and indirect speech. The conditional sentences contain \"if\" expressions that refer to past, present and future possibilities. The main conditionals are Zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. The unit goes into detail about how they differ and the way to teach conditionals. The conditionals were known by me and used as apart of my own language and writing, but it was the first time I came across the name conditional. The Direct speech versus Indirect(reported) speech was also covered in this unit. The conversion between direct and indirect speech required identifying the verb tense of the sentence and converting them to their corresponding form for reported speech. This I found to be slightly difficult as the variation between the different tenses are minimal.
