In this lesson we covered the ways of introducing new vocabulary and grammatical structures to students as well as some common techniques for presenting and practicing the vocabulary, language structures and functions. During this unit I was also able to learn some ideas for useful activities that can be used during different stages of the lesson and look at some lesson examples to understand how these activities might be used when using different ESA structures.In this Unit I learnt about how important it is to pick good material for students to read and listen to in order to keep them motivated to want to partake and help them to learn English. Material needs to be relevant to there English ability so that they can understand but also have new information in there to practice and learn from. It was good to learn how to put together a lesson plan for a listening and reading lesson to be able to practice it in real life.
