With careful planning and management a teacher can create a learning atmosphere that is friendly, relaxed and non threatening. Being aware of responses, voice tones and levels, gestures, class set up and discipline strategies are some of the areas that a teacher should be aware of in order to develop a comfortable and friendly environment for students. Developing a good report with students is pivotal to their learning also. When a student feels confident and relaxed they are more likely to grasp language concepts and take risks more often.In this unit 19 I learned more about teaching special groups and what I enjoyed more was teaching beginners more specifically motivation. For me, one of the most important things to young learners is the motivation, and in my classroom I use several strategies like different types of games, songs and interactive activities. So, I organize the students according to their level and ability. In sum, I think the childrens are extremely receptive to learn, so the encouragement and the positive feedback are crucial to students skills development.
