I have learned how to teach reading and listening. There are two fairly wide-ranging categories for the reasons and motives for reading, they are for a purpose (this type of reading and listening takes place because it will help us achieve some particular aim or goal), and for entertainment (this type is to find pleasure and enjoyable activity such as reading a novel or listening to a joke from the examples above. I also learned how to read and listen. Some skills include: predictive skills, specific information-scanning, general idea- skimming, detailed information and deduction from context. The problems with listening and reading: language (pre-teaching vocabulary, careful selection of texts), topics, create interest, tasks, outline a typical receptive skills lesson (engage, study, engage, study, activate, study, activate).
