In this final unit, we look at some of the most common problems faced in classroom situations. For first lessons, teachers are encouraged to not used the course work as an ice breaker but instead, use more engaging and fun methods to break the ice with their students and establish rapport with each other.
Moving onto another common problem are classroom sizes, the larger they are, the harder it becomes to control it. However, this problem can be approached using a number of techniques such as doing pair/group work, choral repetition, appointing group leaders and so forth.
During lessons, we may come across students who use their native language to explain to their struggling classmates who do not understand the lesson and this behavior should not be encourage however, not banned and only can be used in necessary circumstances.
