This unit explained classroom management and all the moving parts that go into properly managing a classroom correctly or at least to the best of your ability. A teacher's eyes, hands and voice as well as position (standing or sitting) during particular activities can play a major role in the successful management of the classroom. Things like student rapport, when to pair students or instruct group and all the pros and cons that accompany these decisions can increase the positive affect the classroom atmosphere will have. It may be said that the decisions in these areas are also intertwined with behavioral problems and the unit covered how to deal with certain scenarios in regard to how to prevent and respond to such problems. All in all, I learned there is much more that goes into managing a classroom than I initially presumed!
