This unit covered lesson planning and the first thing I learned was what the benefits of having a lesson plan can give a teacher (A record of the lesson to recall one). It stressed the importance of flexibility, how to be properly prepared for a lesson so it can be smooth (like having aids ready and a clean board before class, to name a few), and it gave an example of a completed lesson plan \"form\" and what it entailed. I learned more thoroughly about ESA activities and their proper place as this unit gave examples of a lesson plan based on a \"Where have you been?\" subject with a \"straight arrow\" ESA structure as well as a \"patchwork\" lesson plan with the subject of \"Possibilities\". I also learned briefly about lesson plan monitoring, planning a sequence of lessons and a broad list of what might be included in a lesson.
