Teaching language form, vocabulary and grammar are elements heavily dependent on the class dynamics, class syllabus, age and previous exposure to English. For a younger audience, lessons tend to be lighter on grammar and more heavily focused on introducing new, yet everyday vocabulary terms. As these students are much more eager to learn words that they can implement into their daily routine, and spend time later learning how to properly form sentences and use the language more appropriately. A well prepared teacher would base their lessons primarily on their audience. If they are teaching a group of college students, it is obvious to focus on more dynamic vocabulary terms and intricate grammar formulas, but the younger audience would not have enough prior exposure to handle such an elaborate lesson in the boomerang ESL format.
