In this unit I learned about classroom management. I learned different classroom seating arrangements and also different ways for the students to work including alone, pairs, groups and whole class activities. This made me relate to the different arrangements I had in school growing up and helped bring some clarity into why they were used and the personal benefits I received from them. I think the pairing and group activities were my favorite because I got to know the other students better and I have always preferred the more intimate settings for learning and activities. In regards to teaching, I would imagine both group and pairings would bring the most benefit because of how they reflect real life situations and also give adequate talk time for the students, but I can see they benefit of using whole class activities as well.
