This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 8 describes the 7 future tenses (2 of which are present tenses, but can be used in future context): the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, the 'going to' future, present simple, and present continuous. In addition to listing each tenses' form, usages, and common situations where students make errors, this section also suggests activities that will help to teach students the future tenses.
This unit taught me the formal names for the types of tenses that I use on a daily basis as well as how to easily identify their forms. Much like with the past and present tenses, it is now easy to identify these tenses by picking out the common words and structures, like the auxiliary verb \"have\" for the future perfect or the ending \"-ing\" for the future continuous and future perfect continuous.
