This unit beginning with modal auxiliary verbs was pretty straight forward the example box of all the different uses, present-future and past was quite helpful in understanding. The uses section helped clarify a great bit of what the meaning was trying to convey.
The next part with the passive vice and the active voice was quite helpful, the box explaining in detail the context of each tense in the passive was considerably helpful. Good teaching points given.
Phrasal verbs I probably spent a good 3 hours on this subject alone, I found it very difficult, perhaps not enough examples in the unit, however once I got the formula in my head it did become more clear. I found this to the most difficult part of the lesson. I think this is a very difficult part to teach, especially in a foreign country, perseverance will ensue. Thanks
