This unit helped further elaborate on a previous unit (I believe unit four or 5) that introduced a teaching structure. This unit went past the structure and gave ideas as to games and different activities within each ESA structure. Examples include using gap fills within the study portion, debates within the active portion ect. These give me a further breakdown how a class can be structured. Furthermore, it gave me a basis as to which words to select and to be mindful of difficulty in choosing said words.The unit 4 states four present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. To distinguish each of the present tenses, we need to be able to differentiate their structures and usages. During the activate stage of a lesson, we encourage students to use the present tenses in an open and communicative atmosphere. Finally, I have learnt the forms and usages of the four present tenses with their teaching ideas. Also, I have learnt some typical student errors.
