The present continuous discusses actions in progress at the time of speaking, temporary actions around the time of speaking and a changing/developing situations. The present perfect discusses completed at an indefinite time/general experience, past actions that continue at the time of speaking, and past actions with present results. In this unit I read about how to better approach planning a reading or listening lesson.
