This unit mainly focuses on different ways to assess students. I learnt of the different ways to assess students which was very helpful considering assessment is part of learning. I learnt how different types of assessments can be used in different situations. I am now aware of what to consider when preparing assessments. This was a helpful unit because I always thought tests and exams were the only types of assessments.. I now know the difference between some assessments methods and how to implement these different methods.Unit Five explains clear expectations of the standard in which teachers are expected to manage the classroom. Discussing the notion of teacher talk vs student talk and the vital abc's of classroom management such as, class arrangements, visual gestures and and the way in which teachers should conduct themselves within a classroom setting. This includes where the teacher should be positioned with certain activities and task times. A clear and well structured unit, giving ample examples of what classroom management looks like.
