This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In today's lesson we discussed the present tense and distinguished its different forms (present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous). We covered negative, positive and questioning uses and discussed when each form should be used. We also looked at a list of examples and discussed exceptions. Finally, we also discussed errors that students typically make (especially with present perfect and present perfect continuous) and how to correct these errors.Every classroom has problems, since there is no such thing as perfection in my opinion, one cannot solve every single problem that one encounters, but one can solve some or most of them to improve the quality of the class, this unit exposed the problems that are commonly found in every classroom, and ways to solve these said problems, I have personally encountered these problems and solved some, but thanks to this unit I will be able to solve them in a more swift and professional manner.
