This unit was about receptive skills: reading and listening. The motives for teaching receptive skills vary, but the most common of them are: for purpose and for entertainment. When we listen and read we use different kind of skill , among them are: predictive skill, specific information- scanning, general ideas - skimming, detailed information, deduction from context. There are some problems that teachers might face with reading and listening: Language, Topics, Create interest and Tasks. The Unit 15 talks about ways we as teachers, can assess and/or evaluate our students during the course.
