In this unit we learned about the different roles a teacher can have and also different types of classes or one on one teaching. From mixed levels to one on one teaching the teacher must play different roles and adapt to the needs of his students.We were also introduced to the differences between teaching adults and younger people (advantages-disadvantages)and finally we had a brief explanation about the different types of teaching methods from grammar-translation to the ESA method.I believe that this unit is one of the key units for teachers to know more about how to manage a class. To me, particularly, I have learnt what a clear instruction is. For example, the instruction needs to as simple as it possible, try not to repeat the same things, again and again, ask students tell you back what it means and what they understood are a better method. Lastly, I learnt how to maintain a good classroom arrangement and discipline such as responding to problem students.
