This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This Unit was quite interesting. There are 9 different methodologies. I learned new two methodologies called Suggestopaedia and The Lexical approach. ESA Lesson include important stages to teach student. Using Engage statement should be started in the first place and make student be excited to speak out their voice. Of course, Teachers have to teach them right grammar and vocabulary to understand dialogues and texts. Personally, I think Activate stage is very important because students can be creative and understand what they have to use in different activities. This unit was a great grammar refresher because I haven't really studied modal auxiliary and passive voice since the 8th grade. I appreciated the charts that accompanied this unit because the usage of some of the modal auxiliary were always a problem, such as the use of \"may\" and \"can\" in a request to use the bathroom. I had a teacher that would always stress the difference. The main section that I found confusion with was the phrasal verbs. I didn't quite understand the difference between the three, so I'm going to have to spend more time with that section.
