This Unit focused on conditionals and listed the zero, first, second, third and mixed conditional forms that could be made. Conditionals are a sentence that contains a clause and a consequence, the different forms determine temporally where the clause and the consequence have taken place as well as the correct context for which to use them. Later on, the concepts of direct speech and reported speech were covered. Direct speech would be the speakers sentence and reported speech is another relaying what the original speaker had said. The reported speech has to have many transformations in sentence structure such as tense and verbs to make it correct and to accurately represent what the original speaker had said. The forms and rules were covered and several teaching ideas were presented for both conditionals as well as reported speech.
