Teaching of special groups is the next to the final unit in this course. I have a lot of experience teaching American children but I am excited to teach various TEFL students especially adults. I had not realized that are there are so many reasons for adults to learn English as a Foreign Language and that will affect their level of motivation. The one to one lessons sounds a little daunting because the classroom setting is like a second home to me. I learned a lot about the various types of beginners, from an absolute beginner to a false beginner. The one I found most interesting is the beginner without the Roman alphabet, that type of student would have to start with the very basics but if motivated it would be a fun challenge to teach this type of student. I look forward to teaching students of all types of levels and backgrounds.
