The last unit of the course refers to common problem situations. The typical situations in which troubleshooting becomes relevant include: first lessons, warming-up, students with different language levels, large classes, reluctant students, the use of native language and difficulties with listening texts. As we can see, the list is by no means a short one, but the unit reaches its goal of giving valuable and practical advice on how to deal with those “problematic†situations. The explanation of different situations is quite comprehensive. In addition, I would say that I found the points about first lesson and warmers particularly interesting and useful. Since I have started teaching English at schools less than a year ago, dealing with first lessons and warming-up techniques has been a rather common experience in my case.
