In this Unit I've learnt a very important information for me as a future ESL teacher. Obviously, as you plan your lesson as you will have the result of it at the end. And this particular topic about methods and techniques really helps to manage your lesson. As I've learnt each method has a different focus or priority. Also, it is not always possible or appropriate to apply the same methodology to all learners, who have different objectives, environments and learning needs This means choosing the techniques and activities that are appropriate for each particular task, context and learner, with a focus on motivation and helping learners become independent and inspired to learn more. The ESA theory indeed is a basic for planning a lesson, so I was definitely interested in learning this material and I am excited to use it in my practice.
