Unit three discusses classroom management, the skill of organizing and managing the class, having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. The unit describes physical presence of the teacher in the classroom as well as suggestions for classroom seating arrangements. It also mentions activities geared to the whole class, students working alone, in pairs and the pro's and con's of each arrangement. It concludes with how to maintain discipline and avoid problem behavior.This unit is very educational to someone who never set foot in a classroom before to teach. An attitude in teaching can make a difference on how student understand the lesson. No matter how knowledgeable the teacher is on the subject matter but if the delivery is dull and rigged, it can greatly affect the interest of the students to learn. It reminds me that teacher is there to teach not merely giving information but to make sure that the students learn from what you are teaching.
