I think this unit is very interesting because I would like to give lessons to business people at some point in the future. I think the needs negotiation practice is very helpful. I also like that there is an example needs analysis document included within the lesson. I am surprised that having a working knowledge of the industry is not a steadfast requirement for the teacher. However, it does make sense considering the chapter also points out that many of these students know the vocabulary of their industry but may need basic English practice and reinforcement.We learn about past tenses in Unit 6, which are past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous.
Just like in Unit 4, the present tense, it explains about the forms, usages, typical errors/mistakes, and gives sample activate stage teaching ideas.
You cannot use past tenses without learning regular and irregular verbs.
It is not easy for students to remember all those words and how they change, however when the tenses get mixed up people can't understand you correctly so I believe helping them learn how to use those tenses is very important.
