This unit explained the lesson material and course books that can be used and what the advantages of each are. It gave examples of where to use these resources in a lesson and also what the benefits are for the teacher and student. I feel the created material will help the teacher in preparing a list of follow-up lessons to fit with their created material. The games and flash cards will spark interest in students. The course book options are also flexible in their use in a lesson, it provides the teacher with resources without limiting them to only the course book.This unit talks about the present tense in its four aspects: Present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. It also explains the usage of each tense aspect and the common mistakes that students make in the classroom. Finally, this unit also presents many examples and suggestions on how to encourage students to learn the subtle differences among the tense aspects. I feel that I've learned a lot of useful information from this unit, especially on how to teach tenses to students in a more effective, engaging and interesting manner.
