This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. These topics were more difficult for me than the previous grammar units. I especially struggled with phrasal verbs. It is not entirely clear to me what the different elements of phrasal verbs are. I am confused about the particles. I struggled with the phrasal verb questions on the test and I am curious to see what the answers are and would like to try to understand more clearly. This unit talks about lesson planning (i.e. why it is important, what its functions are, how to write a lesson plan, etc.) It also provides a few examples of actual lesson plans. Although I've been teaching for many years, I've never written a \"formal\" lesson plan before, and so this unit is quite enlightening to me. This unit will be very useful for me as reference when I have to write my own formal lesson plan (for submission and/or review by other teachers) one day.
