I really valued being able to see an example of a real lesson plans and then having a look at a sample of a class also.
I learnt the value of being prepared and having a lesson plan but also in recording how a class has gone. Had i not done this course I wouldn't have known the value in this. I can see by keeping a record after a class how much his will help when I review.
I can see that its going to be so important for me to be planning in advance not just for me but also my students especially as I will be new to teaching.This lesson gives an introduction to the four basic skills in a language and dwells deep into the receptive skills of reading and listening. It provides me understanding of the two main reasons for Reading and Listening and the lists down the specialist skills that can be employed for the same. It explains the concept with an example of ESA technique which helps me understand the concept better. The task sheet further helped me in applying the concept (also learned in the previous lessons) which gives more clear understanding.
