This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit we have seen the profound difference the attitude of the teacher has one the lesson and the students. In the first lesson the teacher was very straight forward, no smiles and intimidating, the students therefore were apprehensive of giving an answer that might be wrong. Where as in the second lesson the teacher gave such an attitude that the students felt comfortable giving examples and answering questions, the lesson was fun and made the students want to actively participate. In this unit I learned a lot about the present tense and how it is formed in many different situations. It opened my eyes to the different circumstances that make the verbs take different forms. I got to know in dept about the reasons they change and why they change in so many different ways and how the sentence and its construction directly affects the verbs. I also discovered the many different components that make up a present perfect, continuous, simple and perfect continuous sentence.
