This unit was a good grammatical refresher for me. It broke down all the parts and functions of each word that make a sentence, going through examples, rules for the regular as well as some irregular usage. The past simple and past participle can be confusing, he was gone, he has been gone. The general rules of placement for multiple adverbs in a sentence was good for me, as English is not my mother tongue. Place, manner and time. Same for the adjective clusters, size, age, colour, material and noun. I organically know this but wouldn't have know how to explain it to a student. I still need to be more comfortable with prepositions and conjunctions and their differences.
All in all this was a good unit, giving me the vocabulary, definitions and examples necessary to present the English grammatical fundamentals to students. Great unit!
