This lesson explained the different possible ways to structure a lesson teaching vocabulary, grammatical structures, and functions. We can use a straight arrow lesson plan that is composed of engage, study, and ends with activate. We can also structure our lesson in a boomerang style or patch work style. We need to make sure that the vocabulary, grammar, and functions we choose is clear to the student of how to use, when to use it, pronunciation, and how often we use it.Unit 13 discusses pronunciation and how we use our vocals. It is to important to understand phoentics, how to speak, read, and write. Phonetics are the basis of the English language and provide the necessary framework for speaking English, and later, writing in English. Understand phonetics will also help an individual with words they are unfamiliar with. If they know the phoentics and letter combinations, they will be able to sound it out and produce the correct answer.
