This unit looked at a comparison of different teaching styles. One teacher presented the same teaching objective differently in two situations. The first situation saw the teacher acting unprofessional, in regards to always intimidating the students and looking for faults. The second situation saw a generally improved situation with a more positive approach and outlook. The students were more receptive to the second lesson. You understood this through their enthusiasm and commitment to the lesson.This was a good session,of course what i felt was the lesson concentrated too much on the ESA approach on the vocabulary grammar and function learning .I felt it was a good way to explain but it was too much of a methodical way to put the ESA alone .I found it a little difficult and not a 100% practical handout unlike earlier lessons.
Of course i learnt a lot especially the various ways of teaching and methods used for example role plays and unscrambled sentences to name a few.
