In this unit I have learnt the different ways to assess a student's language level. They are three: tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests. The lesson has explained the different kind of tests and what they are good for. I have found interesting the progress test, they are very useful and must be used regularly. They are good for the students because they help to store the information, and good for the teacher to know what language items need more works.There are problems situations teacher can encounter during lesson, which including what is the group like( new/ existing), how to start the first lesson( establish rapport, find out students needs), how to warm up before the lesson begin (games), how to deal with situations when students are in different levels, how to deal with large classes, the use of native language, how to deal with relunctant student, and the situation when listening are issues to student.
