This unit reflects on conditionals and reported speech. There are several different types of conditionals including zero conditionals, first conditionals, second conditionals, third conditionals, and mixed conditionals. Reported speech is when direct speech is taken indirectly and the form of the verb changes. I learned a lot from this unit because I didn't previously know what conditionals were, as it is hard to break down a language that you learned from a very young age.Unit 13 taught about the teaching of pronunciation and Phonology. This section is rather difficult for a native speaker since we do not learn about this in classes. I learned more about the rise/fall intonation in the English language. Through this lesson I also learned about the importance of stress in language. The last part this unit taught was of the phonemic alphabet. This section was a little more difficult for me since i have not really used it before to this degree.
