The units looks at the motivates for reading and listen. It also takes a look at the various problems militarily against effective reading and listening and ways of tackling them. In this unit, I have learnt that there are two broad skills in learning a language which are sub receptive skills reading and listening and productive skills, Writing and speaking. I 've also learnt that for one to assimilate a particular material, it takes more than just our senses of sight or hearing to read or listen respectively, but also the help of our materials.
At the end of the study, I' ve been able to further understand how to break down a given text based on Eva teaching methodology in order to be able to teach students reading and listening skills while learning a new language.
