Classroom management is one of the most vital components of effective teaching. This unit explained the importance of different classroom layouts, discipline, rapport between teacher and students, and instruction giving. Many components go into a successful class. For a teacher to be effective, this unit described the various aspects a teacher must keep in mind. For me, I believe this will be the most challenging. This is because the unit describes the importance of maintaining control over a lesson, but also allowing students the opportunity to work through problems together. A teacher should allow for more student talk time and try to learn about the personality of a class when making lessons, classroom layout, and instruction giving. Balancing the various forms of classroom management is the only way to guarantee effective learning.
