Teachers will learn how to teach each classroom differently and effectively. A teacher has to mold themselves to fit the classroom they are in and cannot force the students to do their will 100% of the time. The teacher needs to be flexible with the classes, if the classes are larger than the teacher is use to they must adapt and learn to work with a large class. The teacher needs to get to know the students on their first lesson and not drill them immediately.Unit 15 provided an outline of the different types of tests and evaluation tools available to TEFL instructors. Following from this was a full listing of the various English proficiency tests that non-native speakers can take, including IELTS, TOEIC, and the range of Cambridge tests. After completing this module, I feel better prepared to advise my students and colleagues on the range of tests that are available. I intend to do so at the next teachers' meeting.
