This unit covers a variety of different issues and possible problems that teacher's frequently face in the classroom. It talks about students who are reluctant to participate, large classes, classes with students who learn at different speeds, etc. This was one of the most helpful lessons because it gave real examples of typical problems and good solutions for resolving them. For example, students are frequently reluctant to speak up in front of the whole class, but using pair work before they speak in front of everyone is a good way to improve their confidence.This lesson basically suggest methods of teaching and learning English and the teacher giving feedback to students' mistakes. It is important to give instant feedback so the learner will be able to grasp what they say or did wrong. I was taught in school that instant feedback helps learner realize the mistake; and with consistent feedback and corrections, students will naturally learn from the mistake. I lived most of the methods to teaching the students in this unit. Exposure and practice the language seems to be the most important to me as to learn a language.
