This lesson was effective because it shows the importance of setting a good environment in your classroom. The students will have less motivation to learn if you do not smile or seem happy to be the teacher of the class. The teacher of the class controls the environment and the flow of the class. Becoming easily frustrated when students do not understand is very discouraging. Speaking slowly and clearly can save a lot of time and ensure that all the students understand the task. Introducing yourself in a polite manner at the start of class and learning students names will build a good rapport with them which can help greatly. Arriving on time and having a strong lesson plan to follow can also prove to have a better idea of what the task at hand is. Students will not learn or be inspired to participate if the teacher has a poor attitude.
