Students need to be exposed to vocabulary that are the building blocks of language. Once they have a small vocabulary, they may start to be able to use the words to communicate with another person in the class or the teacher in the target language. They learn certain phrases essential to surviving in certain situations and learn from those how some of the language is constructed. They gain understanding and ability. This lesson showed various ways to accomplish these teaching tasks.In the 11 Unit content I found detailed information how to teach my students receptive skills.Receptive skills are very important.As a teacher I am always trying to fit students interest with the curriculum I should teach .Unfortunately,there is pressure of time and some topics seem to be boring for students.I think the idea to teach the complex vocabulary before the text would help to overcome this issues.Additionally I am grateful for providing the lessons structures as examples.
