Undoubtedly, grammar of English language is the foundation for future level of understanding for each student. A teacher should be able to answer any question regarding grammar and, what is most important, be able to explain it in clear way. At first place it is necessary to explain that every word in English sentence plays a role, and that the words are classified as parts of speech. We teach students to recognize parts of speech, which are: nouns, prepositions, verbs, definite and indefinite articles, adjectives, adverbs, gerunds, prepositions, pronouns. It is essential to explain that there are different types of each part of speech (for example adjectives can be comparatives and superlatives) and teach how to distinguish between one and another. In general I believe that strong knowledge of grammar assures success in studying process.
