The first video was quite good at showing what a teacher shouldn't do during a class. And it has portrayed the students' attitude quite well too, in response to teacher's. As Question 17 of this test quite well highlighted, I agree that the attitude with which the teacher comes into his or her class is what makes that lesson a success or a failure. Once the attitude is there, I believe the teacher would subconsciously do other things right as well. He'd start with introductions if it's a new class or has any new students, follow with a warm up engage activity based on something the students should already know, followed by explanation of the taught concept with appropriate examples, a few study phase exercises, and, ultimately, an 'activate' activity or two to re-inforce the taught concept while keeping the students interested and engaged.
