A list of interesting learning strategies are provided in Unit 2. Some which I am familiar with and others that will be useful to apply in the classroom in the future. Always room for fresh ideas.
Information on teaching/learning methods available when teaching languages has been included. Also an overview of the most effective methods are discussed. A point that is appropriate to my situation is the importance to speak English in the learning environment. Thus providing students with language practice that is not available to all students when at home.
The Engage, Study and Activate lesson stages are discussed with various structures suggested to provide an effective lesson and build student confidence. For example the 'Boomerang' method. Also various learning strategies and effective ways to provide feedback (correction) are included.
