This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 18 focuses on modal, phrasal verbs, passive and active voice. It is very important to distinguish the different forms that compose the passive voice. Once again, the teacher should be aware of the level of his students before starting to teach that content ; the students should have a strong knowledge of the tenses as the verbs change from active to passive voice. The usage of the different forms must be carefully explain beforehand and completed by a series of games that allow students to practice and become familiar. The relative clauses should be an important point in the lesson as well as the phrasal verbs ( which could be scary for the students ( and the teacher..) ). Choosing a particular subject can help the student to understand the meaning, the usage and the importance of the phrasal verb as it is often used in the daily life.
