The topic of coursebooks and lesson materials were insightful about the type of materials used in class. I remember during my time in school that I would look at the textbooks. Some were old and did not have flashy artwork. One of my text books was new and had vibrant colors, it had my attention from the start. So going through this unit, I know what to check for in these textbooks to see what the lessons are in them. Depending on the level of the students I will be able to see what is usable and what I need to supplement. I remember having certain textbooks that we used a lot of the material in the book. There was also some textbooks that we used almost nothing from it, a chapter or two maximum. To conclude, when using course materials the instructor would have to see what is suitable for the grade level and what materials would be needed.
