In this lesson the productive skills were focused on. Games were given and that was helpful. Speaking was explained in terms of preparing the situation and how to get students interacting and participating, steps like group work or enough guided practice. Also an outline of how to use accuracy and fluency speaking activities and when and how to give feedback. Writing was explained using its constituent parts like spelling, and ideas of an ESA lesson were given. Writing is also important to focus on, and there are various parts of writing which can be practiced. Creative writing may help improve interest. Again it is important to match interests of students and task. Also to get students to check over their work afterwards for spelling, layout etc. and to practice spelling, give a range of reading activities. Games also help to promote speech.
