The videos show two contrasting teaching styles. In the first video, the teacher is not interested in his students. It is obvious that he is not interested in the lesson and is not enjoying the lesson. Because of this, his learners are not engaged as well. There is very little student talk time because they are not really interested because of the teacher's attitude. On the other hand, the second video shows a teacher who is fully engaged and is happy to be in the classroom. He begins by introducing himself and then asks students to write their names so that he can see them. He then refers to them by their names, which is great to encourage them to speak up. As a result, there is a lot more student talk time. They are really engaged in the lesson. Even though they make mistakes, the teacher has fun with it but does not embarrass the learners.
